A Message from the Bishop's Heart

As we journey through this season, I feel compelled to share a word of encouragement with you—one that speaks to the heart of who we are as believers and as a church family.

In a world filled with uncertainty, distractions, and rapid change, the call of God on our lives remains steady and sure. Each one of us has been created with a divine purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.”

As your bishop, I am deeply aware of the weight and wonder of the calling God has placed not only on my life but on this entire ministry. We are not gathered by accident. We are a people on assignment. Whether you serve in the pulpit or the pew, in outreach or administration, your role in the body of Christ is significant.

This is a season to walk boldly in your purpose:

  • To pray more fervently,

  • To love more deeply,

  • To serve more faithfully,

  • And to speak truth more courageously.

Our church is called to be a light in dark places, a refuge for the broken, and a beacon of hope for our city and beyond. But that vision is only possible when each member embraces their unique purpose and contributes to the mission.

Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not (Galatians 6:9). I challenge you to seek God afresh. Ask Him to reveal what more He requires of you—and then be willing to obey.

In the weeks ahead, I’ll be sharing more insights through this blog to keep you encouraged, focused, and spiritually fed. I invite you to walk with me on this journey as we go from glory to glory.

With love and blessings,
Bishop Jacques RUBANDA
Senior Pastor, New Jerusalem Luxembourg
